Terms & Conditions

By entering into an agreement with us for the rental of a storage container, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Rental of Container: The landlord agrees to rent to the tenant a 20-foot container located at Unit 6, Station Business Park, Keymer Road, Hassocks, BN6 8JA.

​

2. Rental fee: The monthly rental fee for the container is £200+VAT. Upon signing this Agreement, the first month's rent and a security deposit of £200+VAT are due. 

​

3. Duration of Rental: This Agreement operates on a month-to-month basis and will continue until terminated by either party.

​

4. Notice of Termination: Either party may terminate this Agreement by providing one month's written notice to the other party. This notice must be given before the next payment is due.

​

5. Access After Hours: Should the Tenant require access to the container outside of regular operating hours, a minimum of 24 hour' notice must be provided to the landlord. Regular hours of access are: 7am-5pm Monday to Friday. Saturday 8am-12pm. Sunday requires notice in advance.

6. Late Payment: In the event that the Tenant fails to pay the rent by the due date, the Landlord reserves the right to move all of the Tenant's belongings outside the compound for the Tenant to collect at their own risk.

7. Prohibited Items & Waste Disposal: The storage of refuse, waste, or any type of rubbish is strictly prohibited within the storage facility. Violation of this clause will result in an immediate fine of £400+VAT and may lead to the termination of your rental agreement.

8. Security Deposit: The security deposit will be held against any damages or unpaid rent. The deposit will be returned within 30 days after the termination of this agreement, subject to any deductions for damages or outstanding rent.

9. Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Laws of England and Wales. 

​

10. Limitation of Liability for Stored Belongings:

Customers acknowledge and agree that all personal property stored in our facility is stored at their own risk. Hassocks Storage Solutions will not be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft of items stored in our facility, Customers are strongly encouraged to obtain insurance coverage for their belongings while in storage.
